Review: Best Digital Cameras

Znews.com --
Below we've picked some of the top digital consumer cameras that are widely available, and the prices are hard to beat. All provide excellent image quality and value. Canon really dominates the top of the digital camera market with its digital elph compact cameras, and the A-series cameras.

In general, a 2 MP camera can provide you with a good 8x10 size print, and a 3-4+ MP camera can make quality 11x14 prints, or larger. If you're only going to be making small 4x6 inch prints, anything at 2 MP or above should do the job. If you want more manual controls, and the better picture quality that comes with a higher Megapixel resolution, opt for at least a 3-4 MP camera.
