ZNEWS is a technology publication for people who use technology, buy it and would like a little less sales talk between them and a decision.
We cover computers, phones, audio, TVs and the growing collection of products sold with artificial intelligence. Our articles look at what changed, what the evidence supports and who has a good reason to upgrade. Sometimes the answer is to keep what you have.
A name from the early web
ZNEWS began as a technology news publication in 1996. From 1996 through 1999, it covered technology news. Beginning in 2000, its coverage shifted and expanded into consumer electronics reviews, buying guides, deals and affiliate-oriented content.
The current site returns to those practical questions with a new editorial collection. Its history is part of the publication, but older coverage is not evidence about a product sold today.
What you’ll find here
Our launch collection covers AI laptops, smart glasses, AI chips, the iPhone 17, the MacBook Air M4, wireless earbuds and 4K TVs. Each article includes its sources and an update date.
Product recommendations draw on specifications, software documentation, pricing and independent evidence. Measurements belong to the publisher that made them, and we name that publisher. Read our editorial standards for more on how we work.
